Have you ever gotten interrupted and then frantically swiped through apps on your phone only to realize what you were trying to find was a thought not an app

While watching Garden, by SZA, I kept admiring her hair and had an epiphany


Through much of my life I’ve hated my hairs size and texture without understanding that I hated it for the way it unapologetically takes up space and and doesn’t comromise on the power of its self.


I only ever wanted it to take up less space because I never felt worthy if the space I take with it.


But I don’t have to prove or earn my space. I was born and therefore I deserve. There is genuinely nothing more to it and never anything to apologize for.

Oh my gosh. I knew that all babies practice adult behaviors, but I’d never thought about baby peacocks practicing this behavior. I’m dead of cute. 

Baby peacocks practicing to be sexy is not something I knew I needed to see but I’m so glad I did
